Personally I am not a big fan of Valentines Day. I cant really put my finger on why i dislike it so much. Perhaps theres just too much hype and for those not in relationships its hard to get your head around it.

My day wasnt going so well. I was a little down at not receiving any flowers....dont know why, cos i think its commericalized beyond repair....i mean if you truly care about someone it should be 365 days not just one....but still i was down for some reason. My partner had hurried me home cos he wanted to go out and as it turned out he took himself to the movies whilst i stayed at home and looked after our 17mth old son. Then after my daughter got home from school i decided to go back out and finish my grocery shopping whilst my mm was on the computer....i was so annoyed at the shops seeing all the flowers, cards, gifts etc....i drove with a tear in my eye for some stupid reason....anyway i got home and walked through the garage and BINGO!!!!! There was a lovely bunch of flowers sitting in a coiled up bit of carpert LOL!!!! I cried again!!! But this time tears of joy!!!!! Silly old sentimental fool i am LOL
