Hi guys

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that the New Year will bring you lots of great things.

I had a great Christmas and have just come home from a wonderful family holiday. But alas, what I thought was a healthy forward program for January is turning into mud.

Yes, I know, the New Year is the time for making changes, but would you believe that every party booking I have tried to confirm so far has either changed or disconnected their number, leaving me in the lurch.

As these parties are minimum of an hour away from where I live, I am hesitant to travel and find a 'no show'. Any suggestions.

I have contacted the Hostess from which the parties were booked to get new contact details, but still waiting for a return call. 2 of the parties are booked for this weekend.

Oh Cris,

Very frustrating for you...for sure...
Maybe just keep tring to phone or text them...email if one is available..but that is about all you can do...when you do get in touch with them just make sure that they reschedule and dont let them say," l'll get back to you"..pencil a date in straight away...
Also offer them some incentive for holding it in Jan.....we have our sunglass promotion....so people love them and tend to keep their booking but of course being this time of year you do get the ones away on hols, or their friends are away.....

Some months can be tougher than others...l wouldnt travel over an hour if you havent spoken to the hostess though...especially in the heat at the moment....

Wishing you all the luck in achieving positive results...
Cheers..
kathy

I know exactly how you feel, cause the same has happened to me. Just before xmas, I had five booked for early January, but three cancelled, I tried but could not change their minds.
I am now down to two parties for January and one for February.
Not looking good.
But, I will still remain active and I am not going to let it bother me, I am on a mission to get out there, and work and work to get bookings or even sales, anything to help me out.
Its called "STICK-A-BILITY" and I am going to stick to my guns.

Thanks
