How to have a…GRAND PARTY DAY!

1. Set a 3-hour time slot in your home – Do not use a prime Party slot!

2. Contact 10-20-30-40-50 or more of the following:
Past Guests, Current or Past Host/Hostesses, Friends, Relatives, Neighbors, Etc., & tell them the importance of your party!

Give them a party planning packet or a “Party in a bag” and ask them to go get you 10 paid orders = $100 in sales (or more: $175 gets them a 1/2 price item & a $20 voucher for example).

Be sure to have at least 20 people taking orders for you (if not more!) Keep in mind that only half of the people taking orders will actually get orders for you!

10 people x 100 each = $1,000 GRAND PARTY!

$350.00 IN PROFIT FOR YOU! (Based on a 35% Commission rate)
3. Invite them all to come to your house and bring their orders. Have them invite a friend or two also. Play games, have a demonstration and have drawings! Depending on the sales you can have a drawing for the exclusive level host gifts.

4. Welcome everyone with a GREAT BIG SMILE and play a short game to
break the ice.

5. Demo your Kit.

6. Depending on time play games (i.e. Fun games, dating game, and/or recruiting game.)

7. Review orders, answer questions, and close.

8. After the party be sure to follow up and review orders.

Party In A Bag!

What you will need:

1 Medium Size Gift Bag per Host/Hostess
10 Order Forms per bag
Hostess Incentives sheet
5 Catalogs per bag
10 party gifts: per bag

Explanation:

Let your perspective host/hostess know that this is a special party for people on the run whom might not have time to do an in home demonstration. It’s called a “Party in a bag” and your host/hostess can earn some really cool gifts. Party Plan the host/hostess as you would any other host and explain to him/her that there are some great gifts for getting you 10 paid orders! Set a date to start and set a date that you will pick up the “Party in a bag” (with all of the paid orders.)

Your objective is to get 10 “Party in a bag” parties back with at least $100.00 in paid orders each. 10 “Party in a bag” parties x $100.00 in paid orders = $1,000.00 in sales (gets you $350 in profit!!! Based on 35% Commission rate)

What a fantstic idea. I am going to give this a go myself. Have you had much success with your party in a bag so far?

I will let you know how I go.

Hi Rachel,

Happy to hear you like it!!!

I haven't yet tried it... but I will be in the New Year!

(Not yet sure when... think I might try this for our next release which isn't until Feb 08)

If you use it, let me know how you go!!

This could be something you try with each new release maybe? Can't wait to try it out for my business... will need to stock up on gifts...

Thanks,
Ren :)
