Let us keep it positive and keep the fun police at bay.

I would not normally express myself in this manner, but today I feel motivated to do so and dissapointed in the manner some of my pp partners are being treated.

I am referring to a different party plan site.

Most of us join these sites for positive outcomes. Our business growth may not necessarilly come thru increased party bookings, sales, etc but by sharing other pp experiences that we can take away with us, and apply to other facets of our businesses and our life. Just talking is great therapy. Life in generally can be tuff.

So why do we get so hung up with where we post our points of view. Certainly, the importance of the message expressed should
outweigh the location in which it is posted.

I love good news stories, and I do not give 2 hoots if they have been placed in the incorrect area. After all we do not do it intentionally, and it is human to err.

By the way for the people who know what I am talking about, I think Xmas and birthdays are 2 pretty eventful topics.

Life is made up of different personalities, different opinions, that is what makes life interesting, And I certainly do not wish to deter people from their own opinions. Of course, we will disagree. But there is always a positive and constructive way of voicing our points of view. We do not have to cut people down at the knees. And we do not have to lower ourselves to being catty and bi...chy. We can agree to disagree.

Let us appreciate what we have to offer. My other concern is: are these people who show lack of respect to our fellow networkers the same people that give us decent party planners are bad reputation.

After all, how many times have you not been able to clinch a party because a prospective hostess has a bad memory of a pushy or disrespectful party planner.

Thanks for sharing your point of view with us. Although I am not entirely sure if you are referring to a recent episode on another site, I do understand the general message you are conveying.
Let me reassure you and anyone else that uses this site, that i do understand we are all humans. And I will not be coming down on anyone for posting in a wrong area. My rules on this site are simple. Treat people as you would like to be treated. I wont tolerate people that get on their high horses and act as though they are better than anyone else. And obviously no abusing people.
My way of thinking is we are all human and lets be nice and friendly to each other and if we do have disagreements, be adult enough to agree to disagree.
Hope we can continue the warm fuzzy feeling on here and not let it turn nasty in any way.
And I do hope people are finding this site useful and thanks to those who make daily visits, its so nice to see people using it

I love this site. Full of positive and wonderful people, and I have even had the pleasure of meeting some of them. We all learn from sharing our experiences.

It is great to go to a site where you can discuss your day at work and somebody actually understands what you are talking about.

I agree with you. I have come across some negative feedback from another site and agree that who cares if something is posted in the wrong place. We are joining these sites for one reason, to get advise and to meet other great party plan people. Sometimes bringing up a problem on these sites is a great way to get advise from other consultants, on how to handle a situation and for us all to get a positive result.

Snazza thanks for putting this site together, i know i have got some great ideas from people here and i hope in can give some good advise to others both now and in the future.

Many times i have lost bookings because of other party planners, not only from the company i have been with but because of experiences hosts have had previously.

I know this will be a postive site to be a part of and i hope we can create more positivity through the Party Plan network.
